Before we started PosterBurner, I was on a mission to make a movie.
But my career in film got off to a rocky start.
I wrecked a truck on my first day of work.
(If you missed that story, it is here)
But soon I figured it out.
For a little over a year, I took every job I could.
I would drive three states away for a job if there was overtime.
I was working like this guy:
(Here is the full video of the beaver)
And by working like that beaver, eventually I saved enough to get some equipment.
I was ready to make a movie.
But I was scared.
I had spent all this time saving up and getting ready.
I didn't want to mess up my only shot.
Then I got a push.
And that got me going.
I was working on set for a commercial.
It was hot. The hours were long.
And my job that day was to lug big lights around set.
Towards the end of the day, the head electrician had some problem with the way I was carrying his lights, and he went nuts.
He started yelling and screaming at me.
And this guy was a giant.
At first I was stunned.
But then I got mad.
And in that moment, a chain reaction started that would lead to my brother and I starting PosterBurner.
I'll explain in the next post.
Thank you and if you have any questions or need anything, just let us know.
